Woods and Forest

The fifty-acre woodland has two aspects: bordering the paddocks is an, essentially, level expanse of mixed broadleaf and pine trees, where there are numerous clearings, paths and tracks, some of which can be driven over; the remaining area comprises predominantly pine forest which, unlike the near woodland, offers gently sloping areas of mixed density trees. Again, all these areas are easily accessible from the near woodland and paddocks.  There are also a number of feature areas, for example a beech avenue, fallen trees and a number of specimen broadleaf trees, which can provide a shady clearing in spring and summer.

There are certain areas where production and construction vehicles can drive into the woods, thus enabling film sets to be build within the forest.   All users are very welcome to lay trackway in both the paddocks and woods creating your own 'roads/access areas'.

Due to the size of the woodland and having no immediate neighbours, we do accept bookings for night shoots, once we have established how much noise the filming is going to entail.
