About our film location

We are aware that every photoshoot and filming is different and understandably what is required on site changes with each booking, we pride ourselves on being a very flexible film and photoshoot location and are able to accommodate most requests.

ACCESS - We are just 4 miles from the A3, 15 miles to J4 on the M3 and 19 miles to J10 on the M25.

AIRPORT - We are less than an hour from five airports, namely

- Farnborough (Private) 10 miles

- Blackbush (Private) 16 miles

- Fairoaks (Private) 21 miles

- Heathrow 18 miles

- Gatwick 48 miles

CRAFT - Obviously the large film and photoshoot bookings are completely self sufficient and organise their own craft, but for smaller bookings we can supply a kettle, Nespresso coffee machine & fridge and the team can bring their own food/drink on site. However, we do also offer to prior purchase a limited number of items such as tea, coffee, bottled water, fizzy drinks, dairy and non-dairy milk, sandwiches, wraps etc by way of a pre-supplied order form/price list which is then booked and paid for in advance.

ELECTRICITY - The old coach house and stables is often used for filming but equally is great for storage or a base. It has 13amp power which is freely available and lighting.

HELICOPTER - We have space for helicopters to land at our location.

LIGHTING - The old coach house and stables has lighting in some areas.

LOCATION AGENCIES - We regularly arrange bookings direct with location scouts as a result of our website and Instagram (@OnLocationSurrey) but equally we value the small number of location agencies we work with and if your company would prefer to work through an agency, then please get in touch and we can tell you who we are currently listed with.

NIGHT SHOOTING - As our site is large and we have no immediate neighbours we are happy to accept night filming/shoots.

PARKING - We have plenty of hard standing parking for cars and larger vehicles on site and additionally can easily accommodate over 150 vehicles in one of the paddocks. We don't mind if any company wishes to organise for this area to be covered, or partially covered, with trackway.

SECURITY - The entire location is fenced and there are no public rights of way. We have electric gates at the entrance and each production can choose their own, unique gate code ensuring access 24/7 for the duration of the booking. We can, if preferred, leave the gates open all the time or just have them open at peak arrival/departure times and revert back to using the unique access code at other times.

SET BUILDING - We are happy for production companies to create and build film sets on site. There is easy vehicular access to sections of the woods/forest which facilitates building in this area too.

TOILET - For smaller bookings, up to 15 people, we allow access to a toilet on site. Obviously larger, self-sufficient bookings will organise their own honey wagon, but for those bookings in-between, ie larger than 15 but not quite needing a multi-toilet honey wagon we can recommend a couple of local companies who supply festival/builder type portaloos.

WATER - There is access to a mains water supply.
